Mission Integration and More SSP

From May 1st to May 3rd Mission Integration is taking place in Pinckney, MI.
That's right Kludge and Creamy are coming up and we are making sure things are ready to go for the B5Q.

Check out this Super Secret video that hints at what the SSP is without giving it away (hopefully).

Mission Integration Details
The focus of Mission Integration will be to make sure that the SIMP Launcher is working properly and fits in the plane. We will be conducting extensive ground testing. We also need to decide what we are going to do about the door as well come up with full checklists for everything.

This year we are going to have real Mission Cards and in an attempt to be more organized.
More importantly we are going to drop more BOWLING BALLS!!

PATCHES!!!
We are having patches again thanks to Kludge's single minded focus on all things B5Q!
Also the patches will be bigger and better this year, enjoy:

SIMP Launcher, Ripple Multiple, SSP

We have been slacking on posting but not on getting things done. I have been on multiple practice flights. Kludge(Kult) has constructed a button which will be used to deactivate the magnet and drop the bombs. We have created a prototype for the SIMP(Small Indian Man Powered) Launcher. Below is a video demostrating the SIMP Launcher. The main difference will be the missing magnet which will be used to release the bombs instead of the current manual release. Kludge has also been working on a Super Secret Project (SSP) which is undergoing regorious testing in his back yard. All I can say for now is that involves matches and chemistry. I added slide show of pictures and will contine to add important pictures and we continue to make progress.

May 2nd

The weekend of May 2nd Kludge and Creamy (sounds like a nasty Ben and Jerry's ice cream) will be visiting for Phase 1 Testing. We are going to rent the airplane and fly to small grass strip where the testing will take place. Here we will be able to remove the baggage door and test the SIMP Launcher with it actually in the aircraft. Other priorities will be error compensation, practice runs with B3C2 software, in cockpit drills with SIMP Launcher, and other mission planning tasks.

Other stuff

Please email at cookedan@gmail.com if you any bowling balls. We want to get the bowling balls as early as possible so we can adjust their weights if need be. We have to group them in threes of equal weights because we will be dropping three at a time. If we can't get three equal weights we will just drill holes in the heavier ones until they match the weight of lighter ones.

Right now we are planning on using the same location but we are open to other locations, so if you can recommend one email as well.
